Retail Management Center is a management consulting firm dedicated to helping retailers, manufacturers and retail co-operations developing succesful retail strategies and retail formulas. Additionally, we offer various services supporting our clients in the process of implementing their retail strategies.
The company was founded in 1986 and has been growing ever since. Our clients include major retailers (like Schuitema, Hema), 'new' retailers (like Dutch Railways, Dutch Royal Mail, Shell, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol) and brand manufacturers (like Coca Cola, Philip Morris). Our offices are located nearby Rotterdam and are in the vicinity of major shopping locations in Western Europe.
Retail Strategy
Retail Strategy is based on two elementary issues: channel distribution and retail organisation. The dynamics of retail are making it harder and harder to make the right decisions at the right times. Retail Management Center helps developing a clear strategic vision, which can be implemented into effective retail strategies.

Retail Formulas
We develop retail formulas that really make a difference. Our services include not only developing new formulas and recovering existing concepts, but also revitalising distribution concepts for brands. Based on a thorough knowledge of European consumer markets and a clear vision on the future. A future in which we believe that on the one hand retail and entertainment will interweave even more (funshopping) but on the other hand non store retailing will grow dramatically (runshopping). Many succesful retailers will have to think "multi channel" to survive!
Retail Support
Our dedication does not end with writing intelligent plans. If desired we offer both commercial and organisational support. Our services include store support, market research, analysis of potential locations, setting up contracts, production of formula manuals and interim management. We can also help you finding and recruting the right people for your company.
